Equity, Autonomy, and Creativity

Dyeing in the Doldrums strongly values Equity, Autonomy, and believes that everyone has the right to practice Creativity freely. We want to a create space where those values are supported and celebrated.

What we do: We sell art! Everything sold here is sourced from real artists who create physical art like sketches, paintings, fiber arts, you name it! The physical art or digitized versions are listed on our storefront. All profits from products sold by Dyeing in the Doldrums will go directly to advocacy groups or legal defense funds which support our values so you as a customer have a way you can directly contribute.

Why we do what we do: At an absurd time when marginalized groups are being called subhuman and treated as such, where many have been stripped of their autonomy, and others silenced, an even more absurd commentary through art is necessary. We’re taking it a step further and finding a way to have art directly benefit efforts fighting against these injustices.
